Losing a Loved One - Why You Should Move On

It is really not easy when you lose a love one. May the separation be caused by death, a misunderstanding, or a third party, being left behind is not really a very enviable situation that anyone would want to be into.

Yes, you are allowed to stop, cry, savor the pain and the longing, alienate yourself from the rest of the world... wallow in self-pity if you may. You believe that no matter others may say or do to try to console and sympathize with you, they do not really understand what you are going to.

Perhaps you are right, maybe they really do not understand the pain because they really cannot feel it, do they?

So you have every right to be in misery. Go ahead... cry, if you need to.

But please, do not stay in there for too long.

Because no matter how bad you have been hurt, no matter how painful it seems to be, the world will not stop and wait for you recuperate.

The world will continue rotating on its axis... people will continue to go on living... with or without you.

Now, do not even think that the whole world is made up of insensitive souls, it is not. Because no matter how much your friends and family, and the rest of the world, would like to stay and mourn with you, they cannot.

Their lives need to continue... they need to go on living.... and guess what? So do you.

After your tears have dried up, you should realize that you still have a life to live.

Lift your head up, look forward to a brand new day. There's a whole bunch of tomorrow waiting just for you.

Life is a cycle of night and day, of rain and sun, of joys and pains... it all goes around... and you should too.

Do not live in the past. Learn from the lessons it brings, but do not wallow in it. Do not miss the chance to enjoy the gift of today... yes, today is a gift, that is why it is called the "present."

So open that door, come out... the whole world is waiting for you!

Moving on is not just an option, it is a must... for the sake of all the people who love, and for your own sake too.

Always remember, when you lose someone, it could just be because you need to have more space for someone who might come along.
